The Moonlight Sonata of Yiannis Ritsos

Critics say that all of Yiannis Ritsos poetry except for his 'Moonlight Sonata' is Communist propaganda, as this is his only nonpolitical work.

One need not be in agreement with an artist or poet's politics, sexual views or practices, religion, or madness to appreciate the ΘΥΜΌΣ (soul, or heart) found in his/her art.
